Toronto College of Naturopathic Medicine Inc. (TCNM) , was established by world famous herbalist Tahir Ahmad in the year of 2000.Tahir Ahmad is a Doctor of Natural Medicine, holding the highest degree in Herbal Medicine . Presently he is the CEO and president of TCNM. What makes us different and unique is our background in research in herbal medicine. Untill now,. Health Canada has approved 54 herbal formulas, researched by Toronto College of Naturopathic Medicine Inc. Only TCNM allows and provides all the facilities to medical doctors to carryout the research in herbal medicine.
Our students gain experience and training in applying the theory in practice at our herbal clinic located in Toronto. Approximately 10, 000 patients visit our day clinic; here students get to practice their assessment and diagnosis skills on real patients with real problems under the supervision of Tahir Ahmad.
Natural Healing with Natural Herbs is our mantra. We educate and train for a scared career. .We are in a process of getting our program affiliated by one of the biggest university of natural medicine.
January 2011 onwards college will offer a course to continue medical education related to herbal medicine. Not just the medical professionals but anyone can benefit from it, as this course provides an overview about new herbal research as it relates to diseases, ailments and treatment.This course is offered on Sundays for 2 hours, and the fee is $40 (For more information about course description and timings please contact us).
